RSS Feed ‘Quick and Dirty’
A friend once asked me what is RSS and what is it for. In sort, utilizing the RSS (web feed) you can easily and quickly got the latest update from any sites that you are subscribing in. For a blog, this means you will be notified if a new entry is made by the author. For news sites, the latest news will be automatically arrive to your RSS reader. For a forum, you can quickly find out that a new reply has been posted by someone. And so on, and so on.
The illustration below should give easy explanation on how to start using web feed. This illustration is based on the assumption that the browser used is Firefox ver. 2.0.1 (get your copy here if you have not had one) and the RSS Reader to be used is Google Reader.

Labbaikallaahumma labbaik
The presenter on the Midori meeting yesterday was Yose and Verro who was just returned from their hajj pilgrimage. Hajj is one of the pillars of Islam and must be performed at least once for muslims who are capable of doing it. So many wonderful and touching stories I have ever heard related to this. Whether it is the one that have to make a saving for his/her whole life so that they manage to fulfill their dreams (and even also wishing that they will somehow does not have to return, that is to die in the holy land), and also many spiritual experiences they encountered during the hajj. It is the time when the reward and punishment is paid instantly, so that we have to always try to purify our heart. Always emphasizing that we do the Hajj only and only for Allah. Labbaikallahumma labbaik … Here I am O Allah, here I am, fulfilling your call.

The Bright Side

It’s not an easy thing to be able to look at the bright side of something that becomes a distraction inside your mind. Sometimes (or most of the time?) someone else is needed to lighten up those other side. To make you realize that behind any difficulties, there is always something you could always learn from.
