After the storm

July 26, 2005 on 7:56 am

Firmly believe now that the strength of a ship will be proven after a storm hits. It may sink, or it may keep intact and even becoming stronger afterward.

The proof that we have the second kind of ship is what I am really grateful of. Holes and damages might appear over here and there, but I believe, together, we can fix them, and even use them as lessons and guidance for stepping forward to the future. Together.

— the keys are communication, honesty and trust –

it is going to be tough …

July 25, 2005 on 5:01 am

The fact is that it HAPPENED … and whatever one’s do, it can not be erased or changed.

The fact is that it HURTS … and the hardest part is the possibility that it might dramatically change my point of view, for good (though I am fully aware that this would not be what my conscience wants)

The only things that could be done are:
…ACCEPTING that it happened.
…UNDERSTANDING and FORGIVING (* but no, forgetting, as if in “running away” is not the best option here *) so that the pain would — hopefully — eventually fade away.
…TAKING LESSONS so that the same mistakes can be avoided in the future.

Still, it is going to be TOUGH. VERY TOUGH. Even tougher, considering this is not — in any circumstances — something to be shared with others.
But may the final outcome be the best for all of us.
* searching for helps and guidance from the Almighty, and from the one who I fully put my trust into *

— In the midst of the dusk. For the first time in years that I failed to shut out my mind.
— Thank you for letting me know. As painful as that is, I still believe that honesty and trust is what should be put over anything else.

Google Map - Japan

July 15, 2005 on 7:56 am

From google blog: Finding great ramen nearby

You may have seen our Local and Maps products that help you find businesses and maps throughout the US, Canada and the UK. We’ve just added Local and Maps services in Japan.

You think Tokyo is expensive? Maybe, but you can still find a number of venues serving a 1000-yen combo lunch near Shijuku.

Great. Now, anyone wants to know where the Tokyo Institute of Technology is? The address is: 東京都目黒区大岡山2-12-1 [quick link]. And no, I won’t post my home address here [even though there will be a very remote possibility that someone would send home some food for me -) )].
